Social Spark High School Fellowship Program

Kamehameha Schools was founded in 1887 by Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last royal descendent of King Kamehameha and continues to educate native Hawaiian learners of all ages to this day. Born from the desire to educate their students on the booming social media industry while illuminating the school’s connection to 'Āina Pauahi (land inherited by Mrs. Bishop), the Social Spark Fellowship Program was created to provide selected high school students with a real-world education on content creation, entrepreneurship, and digital citizenship. The pieces shown below were created by students, for students and promote specifically local businesses that operate on 'Āina Pauahi lands.
